Let's start with the completed item first. This is the rear axle hanger.

The first bend in making the above piece. The end is already threaded 2-56.

Making the flange for around the u-bolt from wound wire.

The rear spring mount u-bolt with 2-56 nuts.

Two of the axle u-bolts and the bottom spring mounts. And yes, the u-bolts are threaded. I used a 0-80 die.
